I wanted this album to be the truest representation of myself that it could possibly be, I am lucky enough to have people in my life that support me unconditionally, and encourage me to make the music I make.
Without these people in my life none of this would be possible.

I'd like to stress that this album is best experienced alone and through good quality headphones or speakers.

I've always wanted to make something that kind of told the story of where I'm from, something that represented my pride in being a queer person, being a Maori person and being someone that despite having issues with my own mental health, wants nothing more than to experience joy. I also wanted to make something that wasn't so serious at its core, something that was fun, something that you could dance to. Above all I hope this album has made some of you dance, smile and feel joyous.
